So it's the week before finals, or more appropriately Dead Week and there's almost 10 days before I leave for Scotland. To be frank it's been a pretty awful week for me. I had two term papers due Monday night, a vocal jury on Tuesday (which I bombed) and I had an audition last night with no callback. Needless to say I'm counting the days to pack up and leave the country for a month for a well needed getaway. I'm also feeling nervous about the whole trip to England that I'm planning pretty much on my own. I already had a planning screw up when I bought a $50 dollar ticket to see Twelfth Night at the Globe for a month too early, and I have been unsuccessful in exchanging it, being that it must be done by mail, and needless to say I did not receive the ticket in time to exchange it via mail so that was a bust. Not to mention a check I wrote for my Scotland tuition bounced because the School cashed it a week late, so now I'm dealing with that issue. It's one of those things where I will not be relaxed until I'm stepping on the plane to leave California. My mom has been very supportive throughout this whole process and I thank the Lord for that, I just keep praying that this all works out and I don't end up broke and alone sitting somewhere on the streets of London. Oh then there's this interview with my professors to pitch my Senior Directing project, so hopefully that goes well and I'm not a complete failure this week. And to top off my list of worries I still need to find a job for when I return home in June. Beautiful. I continue to pray and trust God that he will get me through the worries and my self doubt.

Sixteen more days until I take off for my European adventure and I'm just trying to get through the rest of the school year. If I haven't already said it I shall be traveling to Scotland for a class at my school and will be getting class credit for it, then on my own I will be going down to London to explore the area for a few days, and I will also be staying in Stratford for a weekend as well.  I am currently reading two books to prepare for my trip, to learn about the history of Scotland. I will be documenting my trip here so keep checking for updates for pictures and videos of my adventures!

This shall be my first entry into my new adventures ahead for me in this life. I wanted to start this blog as a way to document my travels to Scotland and then England next month. And after that I will soon be starting a new chapter of my life, one as an adult. I am currently on the last few weeks of my Junior year at University and soon enough I'll be shoved into the world. My family is moving away from my longtime home in San Diego, to Washington State, making my decision of where to go and what to do after college a bit easier. Because of their moving, I have made the decision to move to Seattle and pursue my acting career there. It won't be easy, but I'm excited for the change from my life in SoCal. So here's to grabbing the bull by the horns and taking charge of where I want to go and what I'm doing with my life. Right now, it's surviving the last three weeks of school, and then traveling to Europe for the first time and starting off a beautiful summer! Carpe diem my lovelies,
